Hi Gunner171. The distance between the two stations is exactly 4.1km (2.5 miles). Generally when price matching/beating stations we would tend to concentrate on the ones in the local area. The Emo in James's Street is in a different post code! We are Dublin 6W, they are Dublin 8. We are in the middle of three petrol stations on our road, and have three others in the immediate vicinity. I think it speaks for itself that since we took over the site in February, that we have been constantly cheaper or matched all of them. Added to this, the current offer we have that with every €50 spent on fuel you receive a free tea or coffee in our store, will in effect reduce the price again by up to 5 cent per litre! I appreciate the comment, but realistically, I cannot hope to match or beat every station in Dublin.
A huge thank you, by the way, to all the people that have come in to us as a result of our new lower price and have mentioned "Pumps.ie" as being the way they found out about us.
